YOW Architects, P.C. is organized as a professional corporation with the principals as stockholders. The principals are Lawrence A. Whittaker and Steven L. Obering. Both partners have over 25 years experience in architecture and planning and are licensed in the State of Colorado and various other western states to practice architecture.
YOW Architects, P.C. and its predecessor firms date back to 1971, with the three principals having worked together since 1978. All professional services are conducted through our Colorado Springs office.
Our business provides the in‑house professional services of site analysis, land planning, architecture, and space planning. When the program warrants, we utilize consultants for interior furnishings, landscaping, traffic, structural, mechanical, electrical and civil engineering services. The firm produces 100% of site plans, construction plans and design development documents through the use of eleven workstations.
